Our Aim
The overall aim at Milford Del is to provide support to individuals to enable them to establish and maintain independent living.
- Our carers will provide a person centered service aimed at responding flexibly and appropriately to your needs.
- We recognise the importance of continuity of care and will aim to ensure that wherever possible, you receive the same carer.
- All individuals who use the service will at all times be treated with courtesy, dignity, respect and recognition for your individual rights and choices.
Objectives
Domiciliary Care Workers can provide you with a range of personal care services:
- Assistance with personal care, such as bathing, assistance with toileting and dressing.
- Assistance with the preparation of meals and drinks.
- Non-physical care – advice, encouragement and supervision relating to the running of the household.
- Emotional and psychological support.
- Support for carers (e.g. the provision of a sitting service/respite to enable a family carer to have a break).
- Support and access to community facilities.
- 24/7 Care.
- Prompting Medication.
Fees
£13.85 per hour - Monday to Friday
£14.35 per hour - Saturday and Sunday
Direct payments and Social Services funding also accepted.
